Telecom Fiji Limited's Chief Executive Officer Taito Tabaleka has been sent on leave by the TFL board.
Fijivillage had received confirmation that the TFL board met yesterday and informed Tabaleka to go on leave from today before they seek certain explanations from him.
He had also been told to hand over his responsibilities to the Acting CEO before he goes on leave.
TFL Board Chairman Felix Anthony will comment later this afternoon.
When Fijivillage contacted Tabaleka, he only confirmed that he was on leave.
