Nadi Weather Office Director Rajendra Prasad confirmed that the cyclone has picked up speed and the eye of Tropical Cyclone Mick is very close to Lautoka.
Prasad also said the eye of Tropical Cyclone Mick is quite extensive and people in Viti Levu should be aware that the cyclone is now heading in their direction.
