National swimming rep Caroline Pickering is expected to win more medals in this year's Pacific Games swimming competition.

Pickering who will compete in six to seven events in Samoa, broke three national records during the FMF Grand Prix competition over the weekend.

She broke two of her own records in the 50 metres backstroke and in the 50 metres freestyle events. Her third record came in the relay event.

Fiji Swimming president Dennis Miller said Pickering's form shows that she is now ready for the Pacific Games and fans can expect a number of medals from swimming.
