It was sweet revenge for Joy " The Jet " Ali last night after beating Faimasasa "Shockwave " Tavui in the 5th round on Technical Knock-out.
Ali, who lost last year to Tavui in Auckland on points decisions, did not start the fight strongly as he tried to judge his opponents from the opening round.
In the 5th round, the Samoan New Zealand-based boxer threw in the towel after dislocating his shoulder.
Ali said he was confident the fight would not last the distance as he had a game plan to beat Tavui.
Tavui's manager Ale Vena said it was unfortunate his boxer injured his shoulder as they have prepared well for the fight.
In other fights last night: Sakeasi Dakua beat Temo Kolitapa based on points while Joe Naleca continue his undefeated run with a points decision win against Osea Nakanacagi.
