Avinesh Swamy could be the answer to Ba soccer officials to replace Malakai Kanahawe at Sweeper's berth, when they take on Navua tonight.

Kanahawe is ruled out of today's match and Ba officials have been tight lipped as to who will fill his place.

Swamy has played before in the sweeper's position in the absence of Kanahawe and could again play in that position today.

Ba soccer coach Yogen Dutt is keeping his options open but it is understood that Swamy will move from his right-back's position to play Sweeper while Rinal Prasad will be brought in the right-back's position.

Ba must beat Navua today to remain in the hunt to retain the CVC series title.

The match will kickoff at 7pm today at the TFL National Stadium.
