Suva and Navua are the two teams that have confirmed their places in the semifinals of the Courts IDC.

Suva thumped Rewa 4-nil yesterday and went on nine points to cement its spot in the semis.

Navua from Pool 1 also has nine points and will be in the semis.

The two other teams that will qualify for the semi-finals will be decided today.

In Pool 1, Lautoka just needs a draw against Tavua and they will qualify for the semis but if this does not happen then Labasa will also have the chance to qualify for the semis if they beat Nadroga.

Looking at Pool 2, Ba has four points and a plus 2 goal difference. If Ba beats Savusavu, then it will come down to the goal difference as Rewa also has four points and a minus 2 goals difference.

After thumping Nadi by 3 goals to nil last night Ba soccer captain Tuimasi Manuca said they are now focusing on the crucial game against Savusavu this afternoon.

The mathematics will have to be worked after the Ba and Savusavu match as how many goals Rewa will need to score against Nadi to improve its goal difference.

As it stands, Rewa is four goals behind Ba. If Rewa is unable to beat Nadi and unable to meet the required goal difference in the match against Nadi, then Ba will qualify for the semis from Pool2.

Meanwhile, the first Super Premier match today will kick off in the next hour where Savusavu will face Suva, at 12.15pm Navua will play Tavua, at 4.30pm Ba takes on Savusavu, Tavua will face Lautoka at 5.45pm, at 7pm Nadroga will face Labasa and at 8.15pm Rewa will play Nadi.
