The Suva women’s hockey team defended their title in the Fiji Games today beating Levuka 4-0.

National hockey rep and Suva captain Cathy Thaggard led by example as she scored one of the four goals.

Rebecca Lemeki scored 2 goals while Jennifer Kiata scored the final one for Suva to successfully defend their title.

The Nausori women’s team settled for bronze.

The Suva mens team defeated Lami 1-0 to claim the gold medal.

Meanwhile, Suva still lead with 51 gold, 65 silver and 43 bronze, second is Levuka with 20 gold, 10 silver and 12 bronze while Nadi is in third place with 16 gold, 14 silver and 10 bronze.
 
The Fiji games ends today.
