The Suva Women’s soccer team is on track to win this year’s Sharif Investment Women’s IDC after a thrilling performance in yesterday’s pool matches.
Suva beat Rewa 2-0 in the first match and later went on to beat Lautoka 3-1.
Suva currently leads pool two with six points while Tavua sits on second spot with four points.
In pool one, Labasa and Navua both have four points and are likely to make it to the semifinals tomorrow.
In yesterday’s other matches, Tavua beat Lautoka 1-0, Navua beat Ba 3-1, Labasa and Nadi drew nil-all while Rewa and Tavua also drew nil-all.
The last round of pool matches continue at Bidesi and Buckhurst Park today.
