The Suva Gold and Suva Blues under 9 netball teams are well on track to defend their title in the Fiji Primary Schools Netball Inter District Competition tonight.
The Suva sides have qualified for the quarterfinals this hour along with Lautoka Maroons, Ovalau, Nasinu, Cakaudrove, Bua and Northland in the under 9 grade.
Fiji Primary Schools Netball President Susana Liga said they are impressed with the development of the skills and knowledge of the players.
The semifinals and finals will be held this evening at Churchill Park.
