Suva’s aim to win all grades of the Milo Kaji rugby tournament was denied by Ba yesterday.

All the capital city sides progressed to the semifinals today except for the under 10 who went down 10-7 to a spirited Ba side.

Suva hammered Tailevu 17-0 yesterday in the under 14 quarterfinal and will face Cakaudrove in the semifinals today.

In other under 14 quarterfinals, Nadi was the first team to secure a semifinal spot after defeating Nasinu 10-7, Macuata thrashed Northland 19-0 while Cakaudrove edged Nadroga 7-5.

In the under 13 grade, Suva, Lautoka, Nadi and Nasinu will make the semis after winning their quarterfinal matches.

Nasinu, Suva, Nadi and Taveuni will battle in the under 12 grade semifinals.

In the under 11 grade, Nadi, Suva, Nadroga and Lautoka will play in the semifinals while Ba, Nadi, Nasinu and Lautoka have also progressed in the under 10 semis.

In the under 9 grade, Suva, Cakaudrove, Nadi and Macuata have booked their semifinal berths.
