Suva to face Nadi in Fiji FACT final

History has already been created in the Vodafone Fiji FACT as for the first time the Nadi soccer team will play Suva in the final.

Since the tournament’s inception in 1991, Nadi and Suva have never faced each other in the final and also neither Suva nor Nadi have won a Fiji FACT title at Ratu Cakobau Park before.

Nadi beat Ba 2-nil in the first semifinal yesterday.

Nadi’s goals were scored by Ame Votoniu and Eliki Ravosai.

Suva defeated a fancy looking Labasa side 2-1 and their goals were scored by Sahil Dave and Sakaraia Naisua who had come in as a replacement.

Naisua said they did not expect to beat the Labasa side.

He added they will try and win the final for their fans.

The match starts at 4pm at Ratu Cakobau Park.
