The Water Authority of Fiji is calling on Residents living along Suva areas to store water as there will be a water shutdown from 10 o'clock tonight until 4 o'clock tomorrow morning.
Areas affected include Robertson road, Rodwell road, Nina Street, Parts of Mark Street, Stinson Parade, Usher street, Thomson street, Edward, Scott and Pierre street.
Water Authority Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said the shutdown is to allow the leak Detection Unit to conduct operations along these areas as part of control works.
Meanwhile a burst main occurred in Ba along the Kings road towards Tavua Town this morning and water supply is expected to normalize by this hour.
Also, water supply will be affected in areas within Lautoka and Nadi from tomorrow morning. There will be repair works along the raw water pipe lines from Vaturu Dam to Nagodo Treatment plant from 8am to 5pm on Friday.
Residents living in Lautoka and Nadi are advised to store water and supply should normalise again by Saturday morning.
