Suva soccer boss Mahend Prasad said they will defend their Fiji Fact title.

Prasad said they have already started preparations for the tournament which is expected to be played around June.

His comments came after the side thrashed Navua 4-0 in their league fixture yesterday at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

Prasad said his coach and players are working hard to defend their title.

The first round of the Vodafone Fiji FACT will be played at Subrail Park over June 15-16 with the tournament proper to be staged at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, from June 21-23.

In other league matches played yesterday, Nadroga continued their fine form to beat Tavua 2-0 at home while Rewa drew 1-1 with Lautoka. 

Nadroga youth outclassed Tavua youth by 5-0.

Meanwhile, Vanuatu's Amical FC defeated Nadi 2-1 in a friendly encounter.
