The Suva Soccer Association has cleared the air saying that they did not fire former All Whites coach John Adshead ahead of the opening day of the Courts Homecentre IDC tommorow.
President Maretino Nemani said that Adshead's demands for a better preparation in the Suva camp was beyond their control.
Former Ba and Rewa rep Ravuama Madigi, will guide the Suva side to try and end their 24 years losing streak.
Pool games get underway tomorrow at the Post Fiji Stadium at 5pm when Navua takes on Lautoka.
At 6.15pm defending champions Ba face Tavua, Labasa play Rewa at 7.30pm while the last match of the opening day at 8.45pm will see hosts Suva take on Nadi.
