The inclusion of majority of the Suva reps in the Samabula Sports Club has boosted their chances of winning the R.C Manubhai and Southern Forest National Club Championship this weekend.

Samabula finished second behind defending champions Southern Forest after the Southern Zone playoffs and this has seen them drawn in the tougher of the two pools.

They are in Pool 1 with 4R Electric from Ba, Nadroga's Downtown and Jolly Brothers from Navua.

President Anup Kumar is confident that they can win the NCC for the first time after Suva reps Ilimeleki Tukai, Esava Samudre, Krishna Sami, Joseph Mishra, Dinesh Mudliar, Hendry Dyer, Sandeep Nair and Arvindra Pratap declared their availability.

Samabula will face Jolly brothers at 6pm tomorrow in their first encounter.

The tournament kicks off tomorrow evening with the first match between defending champions Southern Forest Combine taking on Service Sports at 5pm.
