The Suva soccer team beat Navua 2-1 last night in the opening match of the National Soccer League competition.

This is the perfect start for coach Gurjeet Singh who will be working hard this year to bring victories to the capital city team.

Suva’s goals were scored by Waisake Navanigasau and Joseph Mishra while Navua’s lone goal was scored by Jesoni Takala.

Meanwhile, in the feature match at Prince Charles Park today, Nadi will host Rewa at 3.30pm and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Radio Sargam.

In other matches today, Labasa plays Tavua and Lautoka will take on Nadroga.
