The Suva 15's rugby team maintained their lead in the Digicel Cup points standing with a 22-10 win against Northland yesterday.

The capital city side had to come from behind to beat Northland after they were down 10-3 at half-time.

Suva now leads with 9 points after the second round of competition followed by defending champion Naitasiri who defeated Nadi 12-9 yesterday.

Both sides scored their points through penalty kicks.

Naitasiri has 8 points and tied with Rewa who beat Macuata 17-10 yesterday.

In other results, Nadroga thumped Navosa 36-16.

The third round of competition will be held this Saturday.
