Suva looks to be the in form team after the first day of the Courts IDC as the Capital City side recorded an impressive win yesterday.

Playing in front of more than 7000 vocal fans Suva beat Nadi 2-nil.
 
Striker Issa Sanni scored both goals.

Suva coach, Gurjeet Singh said it is always good to start on a winning note.


Meanwhile, Navua created a major upset in the tournament after a comprehensive 3-1 victory over the defending champions Labasa.

Navua Coach, Muhammed Shafeel said they have defied all odds to come out victorious against a star studded Labasa side but they will need to put the win behind them as they take on Lautoka today.

In other matches played yesterday, Lautoka defeated Nadroga 2-1 while Ba and Rewa played to a one all draw.
 
Tuimasi Manuca scored first for Ba, but Iosefo Verevou equalised for the Delta Tigers in the second half.

Looking at the Super Premier matches today Labasa will take on Tavua at 4pm, Nadi will play  Savusavu at 5.15pm while Navua takes on Lautoka at 6.30pm and Ba will meet Suva in the last match at 7.45pm.
