The biggest rugby union in the country, Suva has re-endorsed current Fiji Rugby Union vice chairman Mosese Nailumu and former Games Committee chairman Rafaele Kasibulu as their candidates for the FRU board to be elected in the Annual General Meeting next Saturday.

They have also nominated former Naitasiri secretary Vili Kanatabua and current Suva chairman Vili Rauca to contest the elections.

Suva officials Etonia Radrodro said calls by other major unions to have the FRU board totally removed is not wise as they need some of the current members to be re-elected to have inside knowledge of the work currently being carried out by the Board.

Radrodro added people like Rauca and Kanatabua have been involved with rugby for the past 10 years and their experience will be an advantage.

The Fiji Rugby Union Annual General Meeting will be held at the Police Academy in Nasova next Saturday.
