Suva declared 2012 Courts IDC winner
Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel has also announced that Ba soccer has been fined $5,000 for refusing to finish the match on Sunday night.
Patel added further disciplinary action will follow after the Police and Fiji FA investigations.
Suva coach Gurjeet Singh was happy about the Fiji FA decision and said justice has prevailed.
Courts IDC final goal scorer Waisea Navunigasau of Suva said he is happy that Suva has won the title after 28 years.
Navunigasau said he is proud of their achievement.
Following the announcement, Suva soccer’s Nigerian striker Issa Sanni said it’s a great moment for Suva soccer and its fans.
Meanwhile, Rajesh Patel said they will not accept any illegal behavior including fans.
Patel added in future with the parent body FIFA’s strict disciplinary code, Spectator Misconduct, the association will be taken to task and if that individual fan is misbehaving all the time, they can be banned from entering any Fiji FA venue.
