The Coca‑Cola Suva Zone 2 organising committee will meet today to look into a complaint from Suva Grammar School about the results of the girls division.
They are saying that there was an error in the total number of gold medals that was given to Saint Joseph's Secondary School.
In the official results announced yesterday, Saint Joseph’s Secondary School won the girls division with 21 gold, 18 silver and 10 bronze while Suva Grammar School finished second with 16 Gold, 21 Silver and 9 Bronze.
The complaint by Suva Grammar School states that Saint Joseph’s Secondary School won 12 gold medals and not 21 as announced yesterday.
Coca‑Cola Suva Zone 2 Coordinator, Jeanut Dean says there may have been a human error when the results were being recorded.
He says the organising committee will have to decide whether the Suva Zone 2 girls title will remain with Saint Joseph’s Secondary School or go to Suva Grammar School.
