The Suva Under-9 rugby team started their campaign on a high note after they beat Northland in their first game by 12-0 at the Milo Kaji rugby tournament in Nadi.
The team is made up of Savenaca Sorovaki, son of former National 15s captain, Sale Sorovaki and Josateki Savou Junior.
In other results, in the Under-9 grade, Naitasiri Highlanders beat Rewa 7-0, Cakaudrove beat Waya 14-0, Lautoka 2 beat Serua 12-7 and Macuata thrashed Namosi 21-0.
The games continue at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
