The Suva U9 Kaji rugby team thrashed Highlanders 35-0 in the opening match of the 2015 Rewa Galaxy Kaji rugby tournament at the ANZ Stadium today.
In other U9 matches, Tailevu beat Koro 10-7 and Ovalau beat Cakaudrove 7-0.
In the U10 grade, Northland beat Ra 12-7 while Cakaudrove East lost to Cakaudrove 7-0.
In the U11 grade, Lami beat Ra 14-12, Koro drew with Tailevu 14-all while Northland hammered Highlanders 26-5.
In the U12 grade, Cakaudrove beat Lami 14-5, Ovalau thrashed Serua 24-0 while Cakaudrove East beat Macuata 5-0.
In the U14 grade, Serua beat Kadavu 3-0 while Nasinu lost to Tailevu 14-0.
Meanwhile, the Crest Western Primary Schools Rugby Festival kick started today at Prince Charles Park.
Five districts including Nadroga, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba and Bua are taking part in the competition from the Under 9 to the Under 14 grades.
Over 800 students are competing in the two day competition at Prince Charles Park.
