The Suva soccer team is trying to secure the release of three overseas based players for the up-coming FMF/Blue Gas Battle of the Giants soccer tournament.

Association officials have registered New Zealand based Pita Rabo, Petero Dauniseka and Australian based Sameer Ali in their 30-man squad.

The trio is expected to arrive as early as next week once they get their International Transfer Clearance approved by their overseas club's.

It is understood that Sameer Ali may not be allowed to play for Suva because he played for Rewa in last year's IDC and didn't take his ITC when he went back to Australia. This means he is still the member of Rewa soccer team and may not be eligible to play for the Suva side.
