The Suva rugby team has suffered a huge blow in their preparations for this Saturday's Farebrother Sullivan trophy challenge against Nadi with key players from the Army and Police team ruled out of the game.

The capital city side will be without top players like Dale Tonawai, Napolioni Naulia, Manueli Gade, Jale Lalai, Iliavi Satala, Samu Bola and Samu Kunanitu as they will be tied up with their respective teams in the Sukuna Bowl challenge on Friday afternoon.

Suva Coach Kalisito Tunaulu said these players have been part of the side throughout this season, and they will be missed on Saturday but it has now opened doors for upcoming players to prove their worth in the biggest game in provincial rugby.

Tunaulu had roped in the services of national 7's rep Jerry Burotu, William Rasileka, Osea Kolinisau and Lepani Nabuliwaqa to be part of the Suva team in this Saturday Farebrother trophy challenge.

Suva will take Nadi on Saturday at Prince Charles Park at 3pm.
