Police are looking for thieves who stole the number plate of the offical vehicle belonging to Suva Lord Mayor, Ratu Peni Volavola.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita has confirmed that the number plate registration LM SUVA went missing yesterday. No damage has been done to the mayor's $140,000 vehicle.
Meanwhile, Police in the Western Division are on alert after a 10 seater white Nissan van registration number FI 519 belonging to the Raffles Getaway Hotel was stolen yesterday.
According to police the vehicle can be used in a major robbery as what has been trend in the past.
