Prominent Suva lawyer Ratu Savenaca Komaisavai is still in Valelevu Police custody.

Police spokesperson Ema Mua has confirmed to Fijivillage that Komaisavai was again taken in for questioning yesterday under a bench warrant.

Mua said Komaisavai didn’t show up in the Magistrates Court to answer an alleged assault case.

Mua said Komaisavai will be taken to court tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile, Komaisavai was questioned by police yesterday for allegedly breaching the Public Order Act for allegedly making comments on national television on Thursday night.

Political leader Saula Telawa was also questioned and released for allegedly making similar comments on television news.

Mua said they will have to analyze their statements after which charges are expected to be laid.
