Residents living in the greater parts of Suva and Lami will be without water supply from this afternoon.
Water Supply media liaison officer Maika Nagalu said the water level in the Tamavua reservoir is low which has resulted in areas like Tamavua, Namadi Heights, Lami, Delainavesi and Veisari to be affected.
Meanwhile, people living in 8 miles, Nasinu have been without water supply from this morning.
Naqalu said there is a burst main opposite the Nasinu Mobile Police Post and engineers are currently working on the pipe. Supply is expected to normalize by tonight.
The areas facing water disruptions are Makoi stage 1, Muanikoso, Narere stage 1 and Narere stage 2.
