The Suva Rugby Union has signed an agreement with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) for sponsorship of the Suva 7s Series and the Digicel Suva Rugby Festival 2010.

The Suva 7s Series comprises three tournaments and kicks off in November in Suva before moving to Lautoka and Labasa.

The winners and runners up of each tournament will qualify for the international section of the Digicel Suva Rugby Festival in January 2010.

LICI General Manager Krishnan Narasimhan explained that LICI has been supporting several sports in Fiji and this was just the opportunity that LICI were waiting for to support the national sports, rugby.

The Suva 7s Series kicks off in Suva on 6-7 November before moving to Lautoka on 11-12 Decemberand Labasa on 8-9 January.
