Like other districts the Suva Kaji Rugby team is looking at collecting a total of $20,000 to take their teams from the U-9 to U-14 grades, across to Labasa next week for the Annual FMF Chow Kaji tournament.
Speaking to Fijivillage Sports, Suva Kaji Rugby President Osea Tuivakano said that with only a week to the tournament, financial constraint is one of their major obstacles.
Tuivakano adds despite that, members of the Suva Rugby contingent are confident that preparations are on par as they have been having friendly matches with neighbours Nasinu to gauge their performance.
The Annual FMF Chow Kaji tournament will be held in Labasa from August 19 to August 21.
