Organizers of the Suva International 7s will confirm soon the 7th overseas based team to take part in the tournament to be held in Suva next month.

Meanwhile, 16 teams will be drawn into four pools of 4, and Fiji will head Pool A, USA lead Pool B, Manawatu, the team from New Zealand that has been coached by Gordon Tietjens and has the likes of Lote Raikabula and Tomasi Cama, will head Pool C while Samoa head Pool D.

The other teams including Tonga, Hong Kong, Western Force, Suva, Ratu Filise, Waimanu, Army, two Wild card teams, Labasa 7s winners and Labsa 7s runners up will be drawn into the pools when the draws are made today.

After Pool play, the top teams in each Pool will enter the Cup quarter-finals, and the bottom two teams will enter the Bowl quarterfinals, the same format of a 16 team tournament in the IRB World 7s Series.

The Suva International 7s will be held at the TFL stadium in January.
