The Digicel Suva International 7's has not only attracted IRB 7's series teams but it will also be a chance for Fijian players abroad to play in the Tier 2 Suva 7's.

Suva Rugby Union Chairman, Vilikesa Rauca said with teams like USA, Hong Kong, Tonga, Samoa and Fiji playing in the Tier 1 or the Suva International 7's they will also have overseas clubs and local teams playing in the Suva 7's which is in Tier 2.

Rauca adds that teams like Sacremento Fijians from USA, Sydney Fijians, Auckland Fijians, Wellington Fijians and a club from PNG will be playing in the Tier 2 Suva 7's which will accommodate 48 teams.

Meanwhile, the race for the last two spots heats up as local clubs in the International 7's head to the North for the last leg of the Suva 7's.

Teams like Police, Wardens, Nasinu, Veiyasana Babas which is made up of Fijian boys playing in Malaysia, Sandhill and Suva will travel to Labasa next week to try and win a spot in the Suva International 7's.

Suva 7's in Labasa is on the 9th while the Suva International 7's will start from the 21st to the 23rd of next month.
