In line with the spirit of giving, ex-scholars of Suva Grammar School 70's decade today collected donations of food items to give to charitable organisations in the Western Division.
SGS Ex-students Association President Jasmine Tam said this is part of the 70's decade association events which also includes the "Vakateratera Concert" tonight.
Tam said the old scholars felt it was right that in a time of celebration that the less fortunate are also remembered.
Meanwhile 70's decade representative Losana Ah-yuk said preparations are all set for the talent show tonight which will be reminiscent of the infamous Suva Grammar concerts.
The Suva Grammar School 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration continues this afternoon from 5.30pm, where the 70's decade will be hosting the AVakateratera Talent night@ at the Suva Civic Centre.
