Suva Grammar School’s Golden Jubilee culminates with Black Tie Event
Former, current and friends of Suva Grammar School will round of the week long jubilee celebrations with the event, as well as the final collection of all contributions from various associations and decades.
Yesterday the foundation for the Suva Grammar Jubilee Trust Fund was laid with more than $30,000 dollars given within 2 hours last night at the Jubilee Celebration Soli night.
The Trust Fund has been set up with the aim of raising money to fund repair and maintenance work at the school and to help needy students.
Contributions for the Golden Jubilee soli night came as far as China, Hawaii, Sinai, England New Zealand and individual contributions.
President of the Ex-students Association Jasmine Tam said those who would like to be part of the celebrations are welcome to join the Grammarians tonight.
The week long 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations ends tonight the Black Tie event at the Vodafone Arena from 6pm, whereby friends of Suva Grammar School are all welcome to attend.
