Suva Rugby Union Chairman, Commander Francis Kean has called on the Fiji Rugby Union to select Team Manager for any national team through a selection process.

Commander Kean raised this at the at the FRU AGM on Saturday stating that whether it was for the 7s or 15s team taking part at the IRB 7s Series, the Pacific Rugby Cup, Pacific Nations Cup or the Rugby World Cup, all persons vying for the position should apply.

He has asked Rugby House to stop selecting individuals from within the organization, as this is a paid role and advertise the post, as there are also some capable candidates within the Unions who are fit to take the role of Manager.
