The Suva 7s rugby team will head to the second leg of the Digicel Suva 7s in Lautoka this weekend without some of their key players who were part of the side that won the first leg at the TFL Stadium.

Winger Patrick Osbourne has left for New Zealand while prop and captain James Brown, has shifted his focus preparing for the Fiji Warriors team in 15s rugby.

Also members of the team who are part of the Police team have returned to their club to boost their chances of booking a place in the Suva International 7's.

The likes of Tikiko Uluiviti, Sakenasa Aca and Amini-sitai Niukula are now with the Police team and will not play for Suva in Lautoka.

Suva Rugby Union chairman Vilikesa Rauca has confirmed that they will close the entries for all teams today and they are expect to announce the pool draws for the 64 teams tomorrow.

The second leg of the Suva 7s this weekend at Churchill Park in Lautoka and will kick off on Friday morning.
