Defending men’s Vulaca Volleyball Champion Suva 1 looks good to defend their title after being the first team to qualify for the quarterfinals today.

Laced with national reps Temo Finau, Sakiusa Boletawa, Inia Korowale and Iliesa Vakaloloma, Suva won all their pool matches convincingly yesterday.

Suva defeated Kinoya Green, USP Black, Nakasi and Vatuwaqa all in two straight sets as the capital city boys look dominant in their power play to outclass their opponents with their fast paced game.

Meanwhile, other men’s teams that have also confirmed their quarterfinals spot include last year’s runners-up Raiwai Gold and Kinoya Gold.

The last pool matches will be concluded this morning with the Cup quarters to start at 10.
