8 out of 9 suspended Lautoka soccer players appeared before the Lautoka Football Association executives last night and pleaded guilty for boycotting training in their preparation for the Battle of the Giants.

President, Shalen Prasad said that the players apologised to the executives for what they have done and requested to be given one more chance to play for the Lautoka team.

Prasad added the executives will now write to the disciplinary committee explaining what happened last night before a decision is made in the next 14 days regarding the future of the 9 players.

Players like Osea Vakatalesau, Valerio Nawatu, Alifereti Baleiloa, Samu Kautoga, Apisai Smith and Leone Vurukania are facing suspension from the Lautoka team.
