The fifteen suspended employees of the Suva City Council who were sent home two weeks ago for alleged misconduct remain unsure of their future.

A reliable source told Fijivillage News said it is now two weeks since they were told to go home and there is still no word regarding the case. The fifteen were sent home and are under investigation for blogging against the government.

Meanwhile Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s office, Lieutenant Colonel Pio Tikoduadua said the investigation is ongoing and they are treating the matter as serious, as any case of misconduct will not be taken lightly.

The Prime Minister's Special Investigation Team is investigating the matter.

Suspended SCC employees include those from the Engineering Department, Finance, Legal, Parking Meter and Town and Country Planning, and Health.
