After eight years of investigations, Police in the Western Division have finally arrested a 30 year old man who allegedly stoned a vehicle that claimed the life of the driver in Naviyago Lautoka.
Divisional Crime Officer, Western, ASP Luke Rawalai confirmed to Fijivillage news that the 30 year old suspect was apprehended by Police officers yesterday after receiving information.
ASP Rawalai said the suspect allegedly stoned a moving vehicle in Lautoka driven by the deceased who was hit by the stone and later died at the hospital.
He also said that the man is now being questioned and is expected to be charged and produced in court on Monday.
