The 39‑year‑old villager of Lepanoni who is a suspect in the rape and murder case of the 14‑year old‑girl, has been charged for the rape of another two young girls.
Acting Chief of Investigations and Intelligence Luke Navela says the man is remanded in custody and will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court next Friday.
Navela says the man has been charged for allegedly raping a girl who was 13 years old back in 1998 and a girl who was 16 years old back in 2002.
Meanwhile, the man was produced in court last week after being charged for allegedly raping his 16-year-old niece in Deuba two years ago.
Navela had said last week that police came across the two cases of rape as they were conducting investigations regarding the recent rape and murder case of the 14-year-old girl who died in Deuba.
No charges have been laid in relation to the rape and murder of the 14‑year‑old girl.
