Easter has brought smiles on the faces of the children at St Christopher’s Home in Naulu, Nausori, after 35 students from Christchurch Boy’s School and St Hilda’s Girls School from Australia paid a surprise visit to them yesterday.
The students from New Zealand and Australia will celebrate Easter with the children at the home and will take them to the movies and for other community programs set out for this weekend.
Sister Kalolaini Tuinayau said the children at the home are excited by the visit.
Tuinayau has also shared their Easter message from the children at St Christopher’s Home.
Meanwhile, Easter services will be held in churches around the country today.
Easter is a time where Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion.
