The Fiji Labour Party Labasa branch Chairman has been tasked by the Party to compile a report on the conduct of Labour councilors at the Labasa Town Council who voted against the councilor who was chosen by the Party to be the Mayor.
Chairman, Surendra Lal has confirmed that the Party caucus met this week and has identified the councilors who voted against the Party's choice.
Shivlal Nagindas was appointed mayor after his name was picked from a hat, when he and another councilor who was chosen by the FLP to be the Mayor were tied at six votes each.
