The Agriculture and Primary Industries Minister said they are working towards sustaining the dairy industry and they are hoping to see a great change in years to come.

Joketani Cokanasiga said Fiji has been facing shortages in dairy products and changes will be seen through their dairy support programme, and farm gate programme which is administered by the agricultural ministry with the help of dairy farmers.

He added they have used artificial insemination and are hopeful that by next month they will have success as a result of this, adding that this is a step towards improving the quality of dairy products.
