Support Charter-RFMF
According to a statement from the RFMF Media Cell that Qarase should not judge the interim ministers but first he should explain to the public how he had once used over $2000 of public funds for his Christmas shopping whilst he was prime minister.
The RFMF said the comments by Qarase state quite blatantly that he does not want to shut the door on the coup culture and would rather leave it open. If these are his intentions then he must be prepared to face the consequences.
Meanwhile, the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua has strongly highlighted that ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase had access to the Prime Minister's privileges during his term as prime minister.
SDL's National Director Peceli Kinivuwai said Qarase had the right to use over $2,000 under the law because he was elected by the people.
Meanwhile, Kinivuwai said the military should highlight to the public how and when will the proposed People's Charter be the recipe for eliminating the coup culture in the country.
