An all‑New Zealand Super Rugby semifinal round is possible but is it going to happen?

The Super Rugby quarter‑finals kick off tomorrow night when the Brumbies face the Highlanders in Canberra.

The defending champions and the Australian Conference champions met in April with the Highlanders winning 23‑10.

The Hurricanes are the only New Zealand team to host a quarter‑final as the top seed take on the Sharks in Wellington on Saturday night.

That is followed by two games in South Africa on Sunday morning when the Crusaders face the Lions and the Chiefs play the Stormers.

If all four New Zealand teams win their quarter‑finals the semifinal breakdown would be Hurricanes hosting the Crusaders while the Highlanders will host the Chiefs.

The Brumbies will host the Highlanders at 8.05pm tomorrow.

In other quarters, the Hurricanes play the Sharks at 7.35pm this Saturday, the Stormers will face the Chiefs at 5am Sunday while the Lions will host the Crusaders at 2.30am.
