Super Rugby fans will have to wait until the final round this weekend to find out who will be in the playoffs.

The Stormers clinched the South African conference to join the Chiefs who are leading the charge with 62 points while six other teams are vying for the remaining four playoff spots.

The Stormers ground out a 13-6 win over the Cheetahs to seal top spot in the South African league ahead of this weekend's final round.

The Chiefs stumbled to a 28-21 loss to the Crusaders but their losing bonus point kept the Kiwis ahead of the Stormers in top spot on the overall standings.

The Brumbies, Crusaders, Bulls, Sharks, defending champion Reds and Hurricanes are also in the running for the last four playoff spots.
