Sunnybank made a stunning comeback at the Coral Coast Sevens after an impressive 24-7 victory over Redrock 2 earlier this morning.
After losing their first game to Naviti, Sunnybank came back strongly and scored four tries to Tauafainga Kepu, Robert Butcher and Junior Laioifi scoring twice to claim victory.
Coach Roy Saunders said that the players did not expect what Naviti showed them yesterday but is confident to give Wardens a good game this afternoon.
Sunnybank will take on Defending Champions Wardens Gold in their last pool match this afternoon and a win for them will ensure them a place in the quarter finals tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Australian Thunderbolts Head Coach Michael O’Connor said that this tournament is their build up to the Dubai 7's.
The Thunderbolts had a good start on their two games yesterday beating both Sigatoka River Safari Navosa Warriors and Hideaway Hurricanes.
In other games played this morning Sigatoka River Safari beat Auckland Marist 21-10.
