To help educate people on the effects of climate change and help ensure there is enough of the environment left for future generations.
This is the aim of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community Project Assistant, Reapi Masau who has been selected from more than 2,000 Australasian applicants, to be trained by former US Vice President, Al Gore at The Climate Project - Australia Asia Pacific Summit (A-P Summit) in Melbourne next month from July 11th to the 13th.
Al Gore and a panel of international experts will provide the training hosted by the Australian Conservation Foundation.
Manager of the Climate Project - Australia, Angela Rutter said the A-P Summit has a specific focus on the unique window of time to act on climate change, particularly with the Copenhagen negotiations at the end of this year.
