The Digicel Fiji 7s team left for Dubai this morning without the two late replacement players.
Waisale Suka and Orisi Sariki were left behind, as they do not have visas at this stage.
Suka and Seriki were the last minute replacements after France based Sireli Bobo pulled out and Watisoni Votu was ruled out because of a knee injury.
FRU's High Performance Manager Dan Lobendahn said Suka and Sereki are expected to travel as early as next week.
According to Lobendahn, both players are fit and shouldn't have a problem in fitting in the team even if they arrive late in Dubai.
The Rugby World Cup 7s tournament kicks off next Friday, with Fiji's opening pool match against Georgia at 4:16 am.
